The Lausanne Festival of Lights is back this year from December 1 to 24, 2022, in a reduced format. The façades of 3 iconic buildings will be illuminated by unique creations, and the traditional swings will liven up the Place de la Louve.
After 8 successive editions that have showcased light installations, the Lausanne Festival of Lights offers since 2020 an urban show dedicated to XXL projections on the most beautiful Lausanne façades.Exclusively powered by energy from renewable sources for the past 5 editions now, the Festival is pursuing its drive to reduce its energy consumption as much as possible this year by shortening the duration of the event by one week, presenting 4 works (instead of the usual 8) and switching off the projections one hour earlier. For this 2022 edition, unique creations made to measure by artists from Lausanne and further afield will light up the façades of 3 of the city’s iconic buildings and the traditional swings will liven up the Place de la Louve once more with a new lighting display.Illuminated buildings:- Palais de Rumine- Tour Bel-Air- UBS Saint-François
