The Refuge de Taveyanne is located in a traditional mountain village, is classified as an historical monument and still operates without electricity today.
Taste the local cuisine in a warm, family environment in this timeless building, made of planks and with a shingle roof.
In a nature reserve, set in the heart of the Alpes vaudoises, you can try specialities such as cheese fondues, charcoal grill or wood-fired raclette, and you may eat as much you wish. If you are a gourmet, you should try the divine house fruit tart. From September, you can discover game specialities.
The Refuge de Taveyanne is only open in summer, from May to October. Situated on various hiking or mountain biking trails, it is also accessible by car.
If you would like to visit in the evening, we recommend reserving a table in advance. There is also the opportunity to sleep there in a dormitory of 5 beds.
