Description - Walk along the river Venoge

Meet the coveted river: La Venoge

Starting from the mouth of the Venoge river, between St-Sulpice and Préverenges, follow the path along the river, upstream to Bussigny.
The walk continues in the direction of Echichens, crossing the fields and vineyards of Morges.
At the top of Marcelin, you will walk back down to the lake by the Morges trail.

Steps

1. Préverenges beach

Come and discover one of the largest and most beautiful beaches on the shores of Lake Geneva.

2. Cave du Bon

“La Cave du Bon” has been a family domaine since 1959, the domaine is spread over 17 acres of vines in the village of Echichens.

3. Le Domaine de la Ville de Morges

The Domaine de la Ville de Morges, a passion for sustainable viticulture.

4. Domaine de Marcelin - Magaz’à vin

This tasting and sale space offering some thirty wines is incorporated into the cantonal vocational school of agriculture and viticulture.

5. Cave du Signal

“La Cave du Signal” benefits from an exceptional panorama of Lake Geneva, the Mont-Blanc as well as the French and Vaud Alps.

6. Domaine Henri Cruchon

This 42 hectares estate, with 16 different grape varieties gives birth to 36 different wines.

Practical information

If you come by public transport, get off at the Saint Sulpice Laviaux bus stop.
You can then finish the walk at Morges train station and leave directly.

If you come by car, you can park at the port of Saint Sulpice. From Morges train station, you can then take a bus back to your car. (Bus 701 direction Bourdonnette)
