Discover a thousand and one stories, anecdotes, historical and natural facts about this exceptional cultural landscape in the company of a heritage guide
Starting in Cully at 10:00 am every Sunday morning, until October 31st, a heritage guide is taking visitors on a discovery tour of the terraced vineyards of Lavaux. These tours last 2h30 and are an excellent way to immerse yourself in the history and secrets of a mythical territory classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2007.
From the banks of the winegrowing village of Cully to the charming little village of Grandvaux, this instructive and entertaining walk allows you to immerse yourself in the intimate atmosphere that reigns both in the narrow streets and around the thousand-year-old terraces shaped by man. The stroll is also a musical one, as the Cully Jazz Festival's programming team suggest a number of places to listen to music. A friendly drink is offered in the heart of the vineyard or in the gardens of the Maison Buttin-de-Loës, also classified, before gently descending to Cully and enjoying one last time the view over the 10,000 terraces and 400km of vineyard walls.
These tours are offered in French and English. On request, they can also be organized in German.
