This training centre trains young athletes from all over the world and also welcomes the general public for introductions.
The World Cycling Centre (WCC) is celebrating its 20th anniversary in Aigle, where it has been located since 2002.
It is also home to the International Cycling Union (ICU) and a training centre for many young cyclists from around the world. The WCC trains and develops around 100 athletes a year in the three Olympic disciplines of road, track and BMX.
The facilities are also accessible to local athletes and the general public. The huge velodrome and the BMX track host 2-hour introductory sessions led by professionals, and guided tours are also available on reservation.
