For the canton of Vaud, there will initially be 10 winter walking routes, 19 snowshoeing paths, 15 cross-country tracks and 2 sled runs.
In its efforts to promote more environment-friendly means of getting around in Switzerland, SwitzerlandMobility is proposing a national network of routes for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, skating and canoeing. As an extension of its summer offering, SwitzerlandMobility is adopting a winter theme, featuring some of the finest winter trails on its website, such as snowshoe routes, cross-country skiing pistes and toboggan runs. Across the Lake Geneva Region, there are 46 routes to enjoy for this winter 2017/2018.
