At Belles Combes, Colin Rayroud welcomes you to his mountain chalet perched at 1,500 metres, surrounded by pastures and forests. Depending on the route, plan for a 2 to 4-hour round hike.
Once there, the immersion begins: a wood-fired raclette, heartfelt conversations, and a night on straw, under the star-filled alpine sky.
In the morning, dive into the secrets of L’Etivaz AOP, a robust alpine cheese handmade in copper cauldrons over a wood fire. Colin walks you through each ancestral gesture. Your reward? A hearty farmhouse breakfast with fresh bread, butter, jams, honey and cheese from the chalet.

The exact date of the activity cannot be fixed in advance due to production conditions on the mountain pastures and the availability of producers. We will therefore suggest several possible dates and you will then be able to choose one of them.
Reservations must be made at least 5 days before the date of the activity. The activity takes place from one person upwards and for a maximum of 7 people. Each participant must have his or her own personal sleeping bag and hiking clothes suitable for the mountains.
This activity takes place in all weathers. In the event of cancellation or modification up to 2 days before the date of arrival, the service provider will not charge any fees. In the event of late cancellation, late amendment or no-show, the full amount of the booking will be charged. The place where you will be staying will be communicated to you in the guidebook that accompanies your reservation. All this information will be sent to you directly by post or by email.
Time
You should arrive at the chalet by 6pm. It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk up to the chalet. You can park in the designated parking area 100 metres after La route de la Manche 51. The activity finishes at around 10.00 the next morning.
