Description - Gourmet hike with cable car ride – Leysin
Discover the landscape and local produce! The gourmet hike begins with a gondola ride and is punctuated by three courses in three mountain restaurants. Discover both the heights of Leysin and the delicious local produce.
With a total walking time of around 2h45, the gourmet breaks give you the chance to rest while discovering a mountain of flavours!
Your walk begins with a pleasant cable car ride up to La Berneuse at an altitude of 2048m. Then descend La Berneuse to reach the charming hamlet of Aï, where you'll take your first gourmet break: an aperitif! Then it's a short walk to the main course at the Mayen refuge, where you can stretch your legs. After lunch, you begin the main part of the walk along the lapiaz. The Restaurant des Fers welcomes you for your reward: dessert. Then continue your descent towards the village of Leysin for a good digestion. Then continue your digestive stroll down to the village of Leysin to finish on a high note.

- Tip: take the gondola at around 10-10.15am to reach your first gourmet stop at the hamlet of Aï at around 10.45am.

Gondola lift Leysin ⇒ La Berneuse (or chairlift Leysin ⇒ Tête d'Aï) (one way)
Aperitif at the refreshment bar in the hameau d'Aï (from 10am): tomme vaudoise and slices of dried meat. 1 glass of wine (white or rosé) or artisanal apple juice.
Meal at the Mayen refuge : alpine fondue or veal stew (drinks not included).
Dessert at the Fers restaurant:
Adult: ovomaltine mousse, lemon tartelette or dessert of the day. A coffee or 3dl mineral water.
