Walking or discovering local products? No need to choose! A hike punctuated by meals in three mountain refreshment stands allows you to discover both the landscape and the local products of Leysin. As the walking time is about 2 hours and a half, the gourmet breaks give you the opportunity to rest while discovering a mountain of flavours!
Your walk begins with a sportive ascent to the Solacyre refuge where you will be rewarded for your effort with a cheese-based aperitif, accompanied by a glass of wine or a beer (syrup or mineral for the children). Then, continue your walk, mainly downhill, to the Temeley mountain pasture, where you will have the choice between 3 dishes (mountain pasture fondue, cheese crust or ham on the bone with rösti). Then, continue your discovery of the region by descending to the Prafandaz restaurant. At this last stop, you will have to choose from several equally tasty desserts (subject to availability: apple pie, tiramisu, double cream meringue or two scoops of ice cream.).
