The little tourist train on the Montreux lakeside promenades is the best way to see the beautiful shores of Lake Geneva. The district embellishes the promenades in the warmer seasons with a profusion of beautiful flower beds and offers various exhibitions such as the biennial sculpture exhibition.
The little train was built in 1977 by apprentices of the MOB (Montreux-Bernese Oberland) workshops. It is a major attraction for children, families, elderly people and tourists from all four corners of the globe.
The fare of the two 25-minute trips on offer corresponds to the price of a coffee or an ice cream. What a lovely way to look at this beautiful part of the Riviera with its pleasant, moderate climate.
