This is the perfect site for mountain walking. The accommodation cost is slightly high, but completely free access is provided, from 1 June to 30 October, to all the facilities, cable cars, mountain train, bus service, swimming pool etc. Visit www.free-acces.ch. Not to mention that the famous town of Montreux is 25 km away. There is also the Lavey-les-Bains site offering spa facilities 15 km away. The cable car is 200 metres from the campsite, available in both summer and winter. It provides downhill skiing in an area extending 100 km with a glacier. In a nutshell, it is an absolutely wonderful place.
