Lausanne is preparing to welcome more than 70,000 gymnasts from all over Switzerland in the space of ten days.
This is the tour de force - never before seen in a city centre - that is being prepared and will bring the capital of Vaud to life from 12 to 22 June 2025.
As many people know, the Federal Gymnastics Festival is the biggest sporting event in Switzerland. But did you know that in terms of the number of athletes, it is the largest sporting gathering in the world? Lausanne 2025 is shaping up to be next year's must-see event.
Access to the 140 or so competitions will be free. You'll get to know 22 different disciplines in what has been dubbed the City Quarter and the Lake Quarter, while strolling through the city to discover its riches and hospitable nooks and crannies.
On the shores of the lake, in Ouchy, the Quartier Fête, a large festive space for sharing and getting together, will be the heart of the fun, eating and drinking.
The 77th Federal Gymnastics Festival is back in the canton of Vaud after an absence of 74 years. Whatever your age, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
