The Burignon estate is located above the steeply laid-out vineyards. In calm weather, the Alps are reflected in the lake water. This breathtaking view from the terrace exalts the colour and the flavours of Chasselas wine and other vintages such as Malbec. Offering bed & breakfast and a reception room, the estate welcomes its guests for a stay or a customised event.
Domaine du Burignon offers a suite and two apartments that can receive up to 12 persons in two historical buildings, even if it is just for one night. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the balcony or in the beautiful reception room. The landscape and its footpaths invite walkers to discover them. St-Saphorin is only a ten-minute walk away, talking walkers through vineyards and along a cascade.
In the summer season, the terrace turns into a public wine bar. This is the opportunity to immerse oneself in the authentic ambience of Lavaux winegrowers. The Burignon estate provides personalised services with an emphasis on local gastronomy: cellar visits, group aperitifs or tastings, buffet dinners or wedding receptions.
Owned by the city of Lausanne, the Burignon estate comprises 6 hectares of vineyards that predominantly produce Chasselas and Pinot Noir, but also Malbec, Viognier, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The vineyards are mostly farmed organically.
