The atypical restaurant L’Etable is ideally located in the Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets ski area. Its name was not chosen at random because guests are seated in beautifully transformed stables to enjoy variations of terroir dishes.
L'Etable welcomes you in summer and winter, either indoors or on its large wooden terrace with a view of the surrounding mountain pastures. This charming place is very popular with both skiers and hikers. Enjoy delicious traditional regional dishes in a tastefully decorated setting.
Your table neighbours, the two donkeys, Sancho and Tempête, or the "black-nosed" sheep, which have their own space behind a glass window, entertain young and old during the meal.
The epicureans have also their place. Here are a few tempting specialities on the menu: mushroom cassolette on a nest of rösti, roast knuckle of pork with Alpine honey, papet vaudois, crayfish and asparagus lasagne and, of course, half-and-half fondue and cheese croûtes. In autumn, hunting is also on the menu.
In winter, the Etable hut offers drinks, sandwiches, sweets and barbecued sausages.
