Nestled at an altitude of 1,685 metres, near the Col du Pillon, Lake Retaud is a little paradise for swimming in summer and walking in winter. During the summer, walkers and cyclists stop at the lake to cool off. Swimmers and fishermen rub shoulders in its waters, surrounded by rich and diverse nature.
In winter, the lake, dormant under ice and snow, can be reached after a hike or snowshoe trek from the Col du Pillon. You may even find a group gathered on its shores, enjoying the slopes... on sledges, skis or paddleboards, anything that slides!
