With its kilometres of cycle paths and farm roads, the Chablais region of Vaud is the ideal place for a ride with family and friends.
The World Cycling Centre is not only home to the offices of the Union Cycliste Internationale and a high-level training centre. It is also a place open to the public, with a café and an exhibition area around the velodrome.
It is located on the edge of the cycle path that runs along the Rhone, and is therefore the ideal place to start this twenty-kilometre ride. The ride begins in the direction of the Grangettes nature reserve along tarmacked farm tracks.
On the outskirts of Le Bouveret, a short stretch of easily rideable gravel leads to the cycle path on the bank of the Rhone that takes you back to the World Cycling Centre.
A pumptrack is located not far from the café terrace: an ideal place for children to play while their parents recover!
