After two years' work to make the footpath safer, Les Gorges du Chauderon is now open.
A shaded path winds along spectacular gorges in a wild natural setting. An exotic hike a few steps away from Montreux city centre.
Trail interruption: A rockfall damaged the footbridge and part of the path on the left bank of the trail. Pedestrian detour via the Sentier des Vaux de Sonzier (mountain path). In addition, on the right bank, due to damage caused by a tree, the footbridge crossing the torrent is currently out of service. As a result, it is not possible to reach the route des Avants from this path.
