This 150 km route is a journey in itself with many nature excursions, sporting activities, local specialities to enjoy and cultural sites for all the family and all tastes. Certain sections of the route, like the mountain biking trails, are designed to promote green modes of transport.
Perfectly accessible from Lausanne or Morges, this route goes off the beaten track, highlighting the delights of the Swiss countryside. 142 km long, it invites you to take your time and take advantage of the hospitality of a rural gite or guest house. Agritourism enthusiasts will find all their favourite ingredients here: hiking in the middle of nature, meeting with the locals and original activities for the whole family.
The many memorable attractions to be explored along the way include Sarraz Castle, the Echallens Wheat and Bread Museum, the Cremin Swingolf course, the historic tour of the mediaeval town of Moudon, Servion Zoo, the alpine pasture cheese factory and the four foodie trails at Les Paccots. Musts to take home with you: a cake from Echallens and a fondue mix from Les Paccots, two favourites of the initiated!
