The magic of snow and winter activities

Relax and enjoy the winter activities offered by the peaks of the Alps and the open spaces of the Jura, with or without effort.

The resorts of the Vaudois Alps have runs catering for all abilities, as well as a whole host of other snow-based activities, such as the Tobogganing Park in Leysin-Les Mosses. On the Berneuse, Le Kuklos revolving restaurant offers a panoramic view over the mountains. Villars-Gryon-Les Diablerets has three ski areas, including Glacier 3000, the high point of the region, while Château-d’Oex-Rougemont, La Braye and La Videmanette are a delight for skiers, tobogganers and snowboarders.

With downhill skiing but mostly cross-country skiing, hiking and snow-shoeing, the resorts of the Jura are ideal for nature tourism in the winter. In the Vallée de Joux, there are marked trails around the frozen Lake Joux which is transformed into a skating rink, while Sainte-Croix /Les Rasses has breath-taking views for sports enthusiasts. Finally, sled dog rides in Saint-Cergue are the stuff of unique memories.
