Opposite the château, La Pinte du Paradis offers a choice of a la carte dishes or a gastronomic surprise menu.
From 1 May 2025, the historic Pinte du Paradis restaurant will be brought back to life by chef Sébastien Rithner. With over 20 years' experience in the world of haute cuisine, this passionate chef has distinguished himself in prestigious establishments, including the three-Michelin-starred Philippe Rochat restaurant in Crissier, where he worked as a pastry chef. Winner of a Gault & Millau award and hailed as ‘Discovery of the Year’, he has also managed large kitchen brigades and orchestrated major culinary events.
With this new venture, the chef has chosen to return to the essence of his profession: sincere, generous cuisine. At La Pinte du Paradis, he is offering a twofold experience: an accessible and friendly offering, ideal for visitors to the Château d'Aigle, and a bistronomic table combining tradition and creativity, designed for fine gourmets.
Before or after a visit to the Château d'Aigle, the Pinte du Paradis is an unmissable stop-off for a meal in an extraordinary setting. Its superb terrace with views of the Alps and vineyards gives full meaning to the term ‘Paradis’.
