Looking for a true alpine escape? The Alpine Cheese Trails take you into the heart of local tradition. Nestled in the Pays-d’Enhaut, two trails lead to authentic mountain chalets where L’Etivaz AOP is still made by hand, using copper cauldrons and wood-fired flames.
After a scenic hike (1 to 4 hours round trip), you’ll be welcomed by a cheese-maker eager to share his craft. Evening brings a hearty mountain-style meal, followed by a night on straw bedding, and a homemade breakfast to start your day.
Each trail offers a different experience, shaped by the people and the place. Choose your path:
